Cooper<\/strong> is Senior Lecturer (US equivalent: Associate Professor) in the Political Science Department at Tel Aviv University. Her research interests include the history of political theory; early modern political theory (especially Hobbes and Spinoza); secularism and secularization; Jewish political thought; and modern Jewish thought. She is the author of\u00a0<em>Secular Powers: Humility in Modern Political Thought<\/em>\u00a0(Chicago, 2013). Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in journals including\u00a0<em>Review of Politics<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Historical Journal<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Political Theory<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Jewish Quarterly Review<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Annual Review of Political Science<\/em>, and the\u00a0<em>Journal of Politics<\/em>. She has been awarded\u00a0fellowships from the School of Social Science, Institute for Advanced Study and The Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies. She is currently working on a book project, tentatively entitled\u00a0<em>Politics Without Sovereignty?
