She carried out dissertation fieldwork in Sri Lanka for more than 24 months in 2009-2011 with support from the Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research. Her work appears in <em>Current Anthropology<\/em>, and in the<em> Journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute<\/em>.
